CHILD DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATES (CDA) was founded in 1974 when it opened one small subsidized childcare center. Today, CDA operates three state subsidized full-day preschool centers in the South Bay area of San Diego County and an Alternative Payment Program throughout San Diego County. NUTRITION PROGRAM: This program reimburses child care providers for the nutritious meals they serve to the children in their care. CDA currently sponsors Family Child Care Homes throughout San Diego, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Imperial Counties, and a portion of Los Angeles County.
